After years of continuous exploration and development, CIMC Vehicles has formed an operating model of “Intercontinental Operation and Local Manufacturing” to cope with the current globalization context. “Intercontinental Operation”refers to the full utilization of local production capabilities and commercial channels by the company’s domestic and overseas subsidiaries to conduct independent operations, while sharing design, technology, supply chain, and customer resources to empower each other. “Local Manufacturing” means that the company’s enterprises in Europe and the United States only need to purchase core semi-trailer components from the company’s lighthouse factories in China, procure third-party parts locally, and complete the manufacturing of semi-trailers locally.
